I have used my IIC+ with the whole band a couple of times and got it dialed in. This thing is amazing!!!!!! It sounded great with Les Paul's, and my ES-339. I was worried about not having EQ but not anymore. We even do a cover of enter Sandman and it sounded spot on without the EQ.

If I ever found a faceplate I'd add it but I'm happy without it. So glad I bought this amp!

They do sound great with a band... cool that you got to experience that. I used my newly acquired IIC+ with a band recently and I got several tone compliments from the guys. When I showed up to the beach front gig the following week (in Santa Cruz, CA) with my Mark V, they all were bummed... a guy that is good friends with Mike B. introduced himself and said he heard there was going to be a IIC+ at the gig. I talked to him for quite a while and gave him my card. He did know what he was talking about with tubes, etc. (he schooled me on a lot in a short time). Two days later, when I got a call from Mike B. about sending my other IIC+ to him for a tuneup, he confirmed he talked to his friend and had just been over the guy's for dinner coincidentally. You never know who you will run into because of C+'s.

That's Awesome! What did he have to say about tubes?

For the longest time I was turned off of trying different tubes in Mesas. I started reading the tube posts about winged C's and Sylvanias, etc. This guy seemed to confirm what you all talk about. I tried some winged C's right after that and you guys are all right. :)
