I searched the forum and don't think this has been posted before, but for all those who think the Triple Rectifier's 150 all-tube power section is ridiculous (not me :lol: )......what do you think about this mofo?

I just lost respect for one of my all time fav bands, Ministry. They're endorsed by Crate and apparently using SS amps. The new album sucks. Must need money bad or something. I noticed Vernon Reid is not listed on the Crate artist roster anymore.

I saw Ministry on the last tour, Al, Mike and Tommy were using solid state Marshall amps. The only guy using Crate was Paul Raven. I dont see how a band using a product should make you lose respect for them...if Al likes Crate then that is fine. I read an article with Al a few years ago and he said that he prefers using modelers and solid state guitar gear in ministry because he wants that cold harsh sound that solid state gear generates.....tube gear is warm sounding and he didnt want anything about Ministry to sound warm.

I think the new Ministry is great, it fits the 'Anti-Bush' theme of his recent work perfectly.
