Lost my Gain in Rectoverb 50

I have a 2 channel rectoverb 50, just started today when i switch to the high gain channel theres no high gain anymore. Channel 2 now sounds maybe just a tad bit dirtier than channel 1. Theres no crazy feedback noise or volume loss, just all of the sudden my amp has lost its thick distortion on channel 2. Any ideas? Thankyou

V1, V2, or V3 preamp tubes went bad. Try replacing V1 with a good one, and if that doesn't help, pull it and go to V2, then V3.

hey thanks, by the way are all the pre amp tubes the same 12AX7 's? or are there different ones for the 5 different positions?

They're all 12AX7s. A lot of people like to put different brands in various positions though.
