Lonestar Vs. Mark I

Im looking at both these amps and would like to know the pros and cons. I like the vintage tones of the mark I reissue but don't like the non channel switching. I know you can get the footswitch but the volume change is drastic. I was wondering if the lonestar's cascading gains could reach a tone similar to the mark I or maybe a speaker change. Thanks.
