Hi...
Thinking about a new amp (this is my second post). Bit of a John Squire fan and he is using Lonestars for The Stone Roses reunion. I play everything but metal so i need an amp that offers me a great clean tone but with some tube screamer overdrive...in short a versitile amp. I don't gig much anymore so would the Lonestar series be overkill for my needs. I have various pedals so the amp must be 'happy' with a small pedal board.
What is the difference betweem the Lonestar and the Lonestar special? i read that the Special is more akin to the Vox tone?
Any advice would be appreciated.
