Lonestar - new standard covering?

I saw an add in the new Guitar World for the Lonestar line and all the amps were in black tolex with black cloth grill. I had to take a second look to make sure it just wasn't a B&W add, but then I noticed the grill cloth was black, not pewter. It looked like the new default dressing for the series.

I think both are standard. Much like some of the bass gear that comes with either black or zinc bronco standard (no up-charge for the two options).

Funny that you mention this - I was talking to a Mesa rep just yesterday who told me that "the guy" who was making the blue/pewter Lonestar was let go from Mesa and that it's very difficult to work with those materials. The Ace combo was also meant to come in this color but did not for that very reason. So, it's now a custom option, not standard.
