Maybe it was the way it was recorded but that video of LoG playing Black Label had wayyy too much gain imo.
 
crazy, those EQ settings are almost exactly what I use but my tone is nothing like theirs... must be different settings on the knobs

I was tinkering around with those settings. I adjusted the presence to 6.5 and used my favorite EQ setting (close to the pic, but the 240 750 and 2200 are moved lower) and the tone sounded really good. Very heavy yet clear. 8)

their sound was a bit different because i believe willie was still using a framus set up
 
i think pentode would sound they like.. abit more punch and thickness..and one thing i remember them saying is they have less gain than you think..
 
I think Mark uses like 6 or 7. Not a ridiculous amount of gain but he plays really hard.
