Little help please?

Sorry if this has been covered people, butI wasn't sure how to query a search. So if this is repetitive, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Disclaimer: I am not electronic nor amplifier savvy. I know the sound I like and know that the DR is the amp to get that sound.

I have a 1992 DR solo head that I'm having a problem with. I hadn't used it in a while and plugged it in tonight only to get nothing out of it. It turns on, all the lights go on and the tubes glow, but I get no sound. There isn't even a response when I plug in or unplug. I have troubleshot the cables and guitar. I am thinking that this could be the vacuum tubes, would those symptoms indicate that?

Try replacing V1 with a new tube. It's the small bottle tube closest to the input jack. It sounds to me like it may have died.

And, check to make sure everything is plugged in right.
