Hehe, sure! I'm dying to show off my neato wiring ( :lol: ). I'll get on it when I get home from work. Here's how it's wired though: tip - long side (of the LED) - short side - switch - sleeve.
 
That's not what I expected to see inside at all.

The picture looked like the LED changed from Red to Yellow.
The wiring looks like it either makes or breaks the circuit.
I'm figuring what I thought was red, was LED-off, yellow was LED-on (actually red).

I'm guessing the LED gets it's power (1-5V?) from the Studio Pre.
 
Yeah, the flash makes the leds look very light (I can barely tell that the eq and lead is on on the Pre in the third pic). And yes, the led is powered by the amp.
 
didnt you put a resistor in series with the LED? if its not as bright as you expected you may have blown the LED out as soon as you ran power to it.
