Larry LaLonde of Primus signed with Fender?

I saw Primus last nite in LA. Decent show (I've seen them several times). Lalonde was using Fender guitars and amps exclusively. The guitars all looked brand new. He had what looked to be three identical heads on stage (2 turned on). Tone sucked compared to Marshall tone (Primus is mostly dirty, so Fender is useless). Les kicked *** as usual with the monkey and pig masks and the new drummer was very tight. Great show.

Anybody know exactly what model he was using? The guitar sound did not cut thru well at all. Venue was club nokia @ la live. The tool show was much louder and way more bass @ LA live venue itself (next door).

You don't play "Those **** Blue collar tweekers" w/o a Marshall. nuff said.

Hard to beat an 800 but that fender Super Sonic stuff is killer and completely underrated. The High Gain/Lead ch on the amp is thick punchy and heavy. Id love to own one.
