I just acquired this amp, and wow! Totally impressed by it, I have to try and run stereo with my Roadster

Congrats! I tried to play one of these at NAMM but they said it was too early to crank it up. I'm really curious to hear a more in depth review/Mesa comparison.

Let me start by saying that the amp has been modified in the speaker department and now houses Celestion G10s (like V30s but 10" speakers), this was done by the previous owner. I heard the amp with both sets of speakers and thought it sounded great all around but the Jensens offer a more vintage vibe and Celestions are more cutting.

The cleans are superb and the reverb is fantastic (very lush). This is my first EL84 based amp and I am really enjoying it. I did look into the Lonestars and would be happy to have a Classic at some point but they are a bit pricey but worth it....my wallet isn't that big....yet.

The OD channel is very sweet as well, going from a slight overdriven sound to a very great rock tone, its no recto but that is what my Roadster is for. I have yet to try them in stereo... this weekend when I get time I will do so and update.

For 20watts it packs a punch, I have not used the amp in a band setting as of yet either so not really sure how it will hang there but 20watts tube is pretty freaking loud.

Just about what I've heard.. I really just want to know how it works out with the band. If it can hang and be played out with at 20 watts with a 2x12 then I might have to start saving up.
