I read Abe's post below and I have a set of those kt77s in my Silvertone 1484, and I really like them. I thought I would ask if anyone has tried these in a 5:50 or am I way out of line as I don't know a lot about plate voltages and all. Also what 6l6s do you guys like. I am in the process of buying a 5:50 my first Mesa Boogie and already I am tweaking it.
