In the following files are several recordings, which I have labeled "Mystery Meat" and "Super Sausage". They are the same riffs but in different settings and tube options. Listen to each variety and vote on which you prefer and or perceive to sound better.

This is in a Simul-Satellite amp, read: Clean Channel of Mark III. All distortion comes from an Ibanez SD9 into a SM9. OD is a Ibanez EQ10 pushing the tubes.

Each clip contains a riff played 3 times:

1st time: Bridge Pickup
2nd time: Rythm Pickup
3rd time: Rythm Pickup w/ Q filter all the way down

This clip is played first with Mystery Meat tubes, then with Super Sausage tubes.

All KT66:
Simul-Class (all 4 tubes) then Class A (outside pair only).

KT66/EL34:
Simul-Class (2x KT66 and 2xEL34) then Class A( 2x EL34 only).

To be completely honest, I hated the distortion clips all around, but mystery meat on the dist. clips sounded like pure mud, it had NO definition whatsoever. Super Sausage sounded a lot better because it had a lot more low end definition, but I think the riff had something to do with that, either that or recording quality, because there were some resonations near the low end of the guitar spectrum that kindof made it hard to focus on what it would sound like were I there.

Super sausage also sounded by far the greatest on the clean clips, mystery meat sounded like a tin can.

BUT BUT BUT, I much preferred mystery meat to the super sausage on the OD clips. It just had more character, supersausage was too plain and simple for my tastes.

But 2/3 wins, so Super Sausage takes the lead.

oh btw, nice naming conventions :D made me laugh

Well, the full rig i recorded is the boogie and ampeg in unison, both DI'ed and a e609 mic on the ampeg b2 bass amp. I should have pointed that out.

wow... i do not have nearly enough patience to deal with that stupid download site.. good luck

photoshop. also i took images from guitargeek.com not all images are accurate. the dod rackmount stuff doesnt actually look like that, but i decided that those were close. i made the amps from some images i grabbed off there and edited.
