the tubes have a blue glow to them and I don't know if thats bad but now the amp is making additional ringing noises while I'm playing or especially if my guitar is close to the head. no it's not feedback, it's weird
Neither set of my EL34's make any noise. They both glow blue. I have a set of JJ and a set of Mesa EL34's. That ringing you are hearing is microphonics. Tap the power tubes LIGHTLY with a pencil and i bet you the bad tube will start squealing. Sounds like you got a bad power tube in there bud.
