 I wish!

I traded an inexpensive amp I'm not using and a Bogner cube for a mint Rectifier 4x12 loaded with British V30s. It's huge, and it sounds great with the Mark V. But I won't be humping it to most of our shows.

Once the weather warms up, we play some outdoor gigs. It's nice to have the 4x12s for those. It's amazing how your sound disappears when you play outside  It's then that you appreciate the other 75% of the Master Volume knob.

The irony of my life is that I use a 4x12 at home because it sounds better, but take the 2x12 when I leave the house because it's easier to move around.

Ditto here.

And my 2x12 only has one speaker in it!

I have a Combo V and a widebody cab... Played Quite a few outdoor gigs..Haven't had to mike it yet...My wife was at the Sandwich Fair in the bleachers and said she could hear me fine...Mesa's are LOUD...+ 2 on the rest of the Master Volume...Would love to see what that 4/12 cab sounds like though...must be HUGE...

If there's one thing I've found out playing out doors is that you can't hear **** 20 feet out, but everyone else in a 4 mile radius sure can hear you.

Wow, so true!

Sound dissipates in a funny way outside. At our final outdoor show last fall, the festival promoters had a sound guy who had no clue what he was doing. I wasn't in the monitors at all, so the bass player and other guitarist couldn't hear me, and kept telling me to turn up. I did, but I could tell by the looks on the faces of the crowd that they could DEFINITELY hear me
