Joe Meek FloorQ compressor pedal

I am looking at the Joe Meek FloorQ compressor pedal and was hoping to hear some first hand experiences.
Also what are you opinions concerning an optical compressor.

While I haven't tried the Meek, the Opto-Comps are a little warmer and "rounder" sounding if that makes sense. Demeter makes a pretty good one as well.
