yeah kind of ... Its like one of things where the one knob turns the mix level from 100% dry through to 100% wet ... like a balance control between the lines of guitar pre-amp signal and effected return signal.
just for the sake of saying: before I had Mesa amps, I had the JMP and the mesa V twin ... I always found the jmp a little thin for my liking but the v-twin far too creamy and fat ... untill I used the jmp as the pre-amp but with it 100% wet through the clean mode of the v-twin ... the tightness of the jmp now had the balls and agression of the mesa, it was real sweet.
