I bought a quad of KT-66's from Eurotubes last year for a Dual Rectifier I used to own.
I put them in the Recto and it was magical. Then, the next day, I got a call from the guy I sold my DC-10 to. He wanted to sell it back to me, so I sold the Recto to do it.
The tubes have been sitting on my work bench for a long time, waiting for me to put them in my DC. I finally found the time to try them out last week.
They are a bit bright sounding in the DC for my tastes, but they made the Recto really come alive!
They have around 2 hours of play time on them.
I paid $144 or so for them.
I want $100 shipped to any continental US address.
I am not sure if they will match the standard Mesa bias. I had a Bias pot in the Recto, so it didn't matter to me.
They have 5 lines and the number 76 marked on the boxes. I'm not sure what this means, but I am sure you can email Eurotubes and find out.
I would be very happy to trade for a Boss GT-8 or 10. Must be in relatively decent cosmetic condition and have the manual, power supply, etc.
