It pays to practice hard

Practicing until my fingers bled. Woodshedding for hours. I haven't had a suntan for years.
Using my hero Eddie Van Halen as my one and only inspiration.

I came across this video and realized my goal has been met. I can play just like the man himself!!!!

Their is actually a clip of Eddie playing his guitar on youtube and i believe he is certainly under the influence of alcohol (i think it was a private party of something) in the clip. I forget exactly what clip it is but that aside i highly respect and appreciate what he has done and shared on the guitar a lot of extremely talented players have greatly been influenced by him.
We all have our bad days
Eddie is the man and an extremely talented guitar player :mrgreen:

Good grief man!
I thought it was obvious that someone had taken a video of Eddie and overdubbed some goofy Nigel Tufnel guitar work over it. It made me laugh when I saw it.
That’s why I made up the little story about all of my practicing and ending up sounding like the guitar playing on the video. I was just trying to get a laugh from you guys.
I was doing so at my expense not Eddie’s.
No body is a bigger fan of Mr. Van Halen than me.

Yeah, I understand.
I just saw all of the views on my original post and no responses.
I just figured most people didn’t actually watch enough of the video to figure it out.
Maybe they were at work and didn’t want to get busted watching You Tube.

Then I started thinking. Oh man, people are reading this and going “Who is this guy calling himself Riff Blister and claiming to play as well as Eddie Van Halen.

I guess my attempt at self deprecating humor failed. :roll:

Anyway, on the video when the so called Eddie starts playing Iron Man.
Come on, that's funny.
