When I turn my Dual Rec on with the footswitch plugged in it seems to always go to channel # 2 also while playing changing channels when I come back to channel # 2 I can hear a little pop noise.

If you cycle through all the channels before you take the amp off standby, you might then get rid of the popping.

However, is the dial on the back set to Footswitch? It sounds like it could have been set to Ch2

All of those things are normal. For some reason when the footswich is plugged in it will always go to channel 2 when turned on by default for some reason. Kinda strange but whateva.

areola Yep knob is set to FX LOOP on and Footswitch.

If you get up to practice or gig volumes you most likely wont hear the pop.

My 2 channel DR is totally random.

It picks which one it wants to start me off with.

And there is no pattern to it at all, as far as I can see. It will start up on my red channel for a week and then go to the orange clean channel for a couple days, then back to red and so on and so forth.

It is obviously not a problem, just a curiosity issue really.
