I just got done replacing some preamp tubes on my MKIIC+. I had to remove the chassis in order to get at the V3 and V4. There must be an easier way. Anyone?

Hope this helps

He makes them in a way that if you remove the front panel you can get to all the pre's.
In the end, it's a real solution.
Contact board member gts. His prices are competitive and his work exceptional. I put my C+ in one of his cabs. In fact, Boogiebabies is working on my C+ right now with the GTS (George) headshell.Jim Ed Love said:Boogiebabies said:I was thinking how big of a pain this is as well until I saw a GTS head shell.

It's a solution but for how much money?

OT: Jim: How do you like the 5881s? I was thinking of trying a duet or quad for my C+.

I love the sound of the Tung Sol 6l6 in my C+.
