Mark IIC+ combo with 8 ohm speaker. I wan to add a 2x12 EV cab at 4 ohms. Do I just leave the internal speaker on 8 and plug the 4 ohm EV cab in a 4 ohm slot?

I belive your amp can only hack 4 ohm minimum load, so, you can not run the two together as this would run you down to 3.3 ohms. Some people will argue that you could run at 3.3 ohms as long as you dont run the amp at 10 for hours. You would have to pull the internal speaker off to run the 4 ohm cab and you would have to plug it into the 4 ohm jack. You could re-wire the EV cab for series instead of parallel for a 16 ohm cab and that way you could run both together. You would, however, probably notice a -3dB loss in the EV cab as compared to the internal speaker.
