Does anyone know how exactly the footswitch works on these amps, i.e., the pinout of the 8-pin DIN connector to which the footswitch connects? Is there a diagram somewhere?
A friend of mine has a 3 channel Solo version Dual Rectifier that he bought used without a footswitch, and he asked me if I could build him a very small switch that would just switch between channels 1 and 3. I could do this using the External Switching jacks, but that would necessitate 2 cables running from pedalboard to amp, so I'm exploring the possibility of using a multi-conductor cable with a DIN connector (I have some DIN connectors leftover from another project) with the jack for the Mesa footswitch. If I can figure out whcih pin controls what on that mutlti-pin DIN connector, it will be a cinch to use only the pins I need.
If I've not been clear in this, sorry, I guess it is a little bit of a weird request. Hopefully someone knows what I'm blathering about.
I see that the FS connects by an 8pin DIN connector
