working on some songs for a new cover band I've joined and am trying to use the Single Rec rather than the Mark III ... getting some use out of it. have it hooked up to a Blackstar Artisan 4x12 cab with v30s I picked up used. while I love the different articulate sounds I can get out of the MkIII ...

I am now a rectifier guy. cleans are rock clean - pushed it breaks up nicely on channel 1. channel 2 - I keep it modern and let it grind. playing through a standard faded 05 LP with custombuckers ... not a lot I can't do and will be leaving most of the pedals at home - boost/distortion/gain no longer needed ever.

any secret settings anyone wants to share ... i'll post mine tonight !

I'd love to see what you're using for settings. I have a series one Single Rec that I love. I'm not playing with anybody right now so for me it's your typical scooped tone in the man cave. I tend to prefer Vintage over Modern for high gain stuff. I run it through a closed back Avatar 2x12 with V30's. The only pedals I use are an MXR Classic OD in front and a reverb in the loop because the series one didn't have the built in reverb.

But by all means, share those settings.
