Simul and Eq are generally considered desireable features, will increase the market value of the amp (when buying and selling) and make it easier to sell in case you don't want it. No matter which model you buy, you will always be able to sell it. Any potential monetary loss (or gain) is also a function of how much you pay for the amp. So if you pay a fair price, you should be OK.
I had the same considerations when I bought my C+. But in the end, I was willing to accept a possible financial loss in order to play "The Holy Grail" on my terms, in my house, with my guitars. By the way, I still own it and have no intentions of selling it.
But as tony777 suggests, what matters most is what your ears prefer. The real question then becomes which model suits you best. That's a tough one to answer. Every player will have their own opinion. I'd listen to the people on this board who own C+'s, many of whom own multiple models. Their observations are as objective as you will find anywhere. So if you search this Forum a bit, you will find the information you need to steer you in the right direction based upon the style(s) of music you play. You won't know for sure until you play one.
