Does anybody happen to have any good IIC+ settings for cleans, heavy rhythms, and sweet leads? I'm getting my IIC+ Monday and would be interested in seeing how you guys set up your IIC+'s. Thanks in advance.

Try http://homepage.mac.com/mesaboogie/settings.html he's got some settings here that will get you in the ballpark

Here ya go:

http://www.chain-metal.nl/mark3/metallica.html

Try these to start and tweak em a bit till you find a tone that suits your playing style/picking attack.

TIP-you'd rarely set:

Bass
past 2
Volume 1 past 9 1/4
Drive past 8
Presence past 4 1/2

Mids at 4 seem to always sound right, to me....

I also see some guys here boosting the 80 and 6600 frequencies on the GEQ, but I find it sounds best at:

80 - center line
400 - slightly below center line
750 - slightly above the bottom line
2200 - slightly lower than the 400 is set (as mentioned above)
6600 - center line

Sick amp, try it thru a closed back recto 4 X12 with V30's!

Thanks, I've got those settings alredy though.

I'll be playing the IIC+ through a Traditional Straight Cab with the Vintage 30's in it. I'm sure its gonna sound amazing.

Here are my secrets for lower volume...

Vol 1: 9 pulled
Treble: 7 pulled
Bass: 2.5 pulled
Middle: 2
Master 1: 2 pulled
Lead Drive: 8 pulled
Lead Master: 3 pulled

Reverb: 4/5/6 (to taste, my C+s are different here)
Presence: 5/6/6 (to taste, my C+s are different here)

EQ is your basic V with a few tweaks, you can figure this one out ;)
