What formats did the IIC+ come in?

Combo and Short head only and is the width 18 3/4"?

Are the chassis rack mountable in the Mesa rackmount kit?

Thx,
Steve

They did not come out with the wider heads till the IV was out for a bit. It was so the Celestion's would sound better. They offered this as a head also. The other cabs with the EV was all about how much can you put in a small space.

I believe I~IV are rack-mountable. I could be wrong about this ?

the wide heads were started in the mark IIb era with the series 300 heads like 20 years before the mark IV.

True ..... but not the 4 power tube amps (rack mounts). I think ? I was aware of the 6 tube amps being bigger.

Will the shorter chassis in the combo's fit in the Mesa rack mount kit? The chassis has to be 18 3/4" wide.

Anybody got one to measure?

Thx,
Steve

Back in the day(mark series amps) you ordered a basic 60 watt 1x12 combo and anything else was an additional option that got added on to the price if you wanted them ie reverb, graphic eq,simul-class,60/100, different custom finnishes etc, etc.Like all the mark series amps(except the mark 4/5) you could have a1x12 or 1x15 combo or the matching head ie short or long, the long /1x15 version could be ordered in colliseum format(180 watts!...6 output tubes!!!)but the short could be a 1x12 combo, short head or rack mounted. If the amp has reverb, graphic eq, export transformer as well as the power output are all marked on the side of the metal amp chassis which can be taken out and is inter changeable with any of the matching long/short options depending on if your amp chassis is long or short....hope that helps.

Huh? What?
There are plenty of pre Mark IV, widebody headshell, four power tube Mark Series amps out there.

I know this and stated it above ..... I understand all of this. My reply's above were all about wide / short / when / why / rack-mounts ~ that I believe were always with 4 power tubes.

In hind site i can see I could have stated this better .....

I hope I did not confuse anyone any more than I already have ?
