Marshall 1960BV Cab w/ live-in road case.

And

Mesa 3 channel Triple Rectifier.

What would you estimate this combination to sell for.

I would venture to say around $1200 total. Maybe $1400, but no more than that.

From what it looks like, the cab is significantly used and not in like-new condition. Road cases are a "take-it or leave-it" item for me, and I try not to factor them into any used purchases, unless of course I specifically was searching for one. Just because it "comes with it," doesn't mean I'll pay more for that extra weight. This pricing is also based on the fact that the head probably was owned by more than its original buyer and doesn't come with a transferrable warranty.

so then would you advice against swapping my roadster combo for that set up? my preferences aside. purely based on value.

HAHA. I just want a halfstack. I want a Roadster halfstack but this was the first offer. Thought I might be able, through a few trades, to come up with one. Suppose I'll just be patient.

Save a couple bucks and get a recto 2x12 cabinet. Then you'll have an instant roadster half stack like me. Let's just say your 3/4ths there.

Ya, I've thought about doing that and throwing my combo on top of the 212. And then throwing a Mark V on top of the combo. Sweet set up there. I'm just g.a.s.ing

Without having to write more, mainly because I feel like doing so is futile and that this post needs not be written in the first place (since the truth is so evident), all I can write is ...

DONT DO IT!
