If I buy individual pedals (wah, stompboxes, etc...) can I pu them in my FX loop with no problem? Ive got a triple rect...

Just Guitar > Amp
FX Loop Send > Wah > Various Stompeboxes > Volume Pedal > FX Return

is that right? I want to control the effects using the effects switch on my pedal switching them on and off with one stomp of the foot switch.

Wahs and distortions get better results when used into the amp's input. You could run chorus and delay type effects in the loop, provided you have some kind of buffer to bring the pedals up to line level. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of options for loop buffers. I have a Vox unit from the early 90s, but it is no longer made.

I've found in a parallel loop like the triple has, that time based FX (delay & reverb) work best in the loop and modulation FX (chorus, phase, wah, flange, ect..) and distortion FX work best in front of the amp.
