SO I drove two and a half hours each way today to pick up another Mesa, a fully loaded (EQ, 'Verb, Simul-Class) Red-Stripe Mark III combo.

That brings my Mesa total to:

Mark III combo
Studio Pre
F-100 combo
RectoVerb Head
Recto 2x12

I now have twice as much Mesa amp gear as non-Mesa gear.

And holy crap...I have Never NEVER never nevernevernevernevernever heard an oped-back 1x12 sound SO badass. Black Shadows are amazing, pure and simple.

Yea I've got that problem also. I put the other amp's in the closet.

No Rectoverb or F-100 here, but I'm rockin' the Studio Pre and Mark III head, and now I even have a vertical Recto 2x12 cab that's not pictured here:

I spend a good deal of my free time looking for / lusting after Boogie gear. I'm supposed to be saving money though!

I've found a pretty good rule for curbing the Boogie Acquisition Syndrome, just choose an amp and buy no others til you have it!

Works for me...sweet collection though! I'm currently looking for a Simul/Rev/EQ 1x12 Mark IIC+, so I shouldn't be buying any more Boogies in the near future.

If you're going to have a habit though, may as well make it this :)
