So after so much tweaking i think ive gotten as close as i can to making my mark iv sound like a IIC+ and im in love with the sound of it heres what im running Triode Mid gain
eq in a squashed v so 80hz between top and middle line (closer to the middle)
240 on the middle line with a slight nudge up
750 between bottom and middle line
2200 same as 240 but a nudge lower
and last 6600 right on the middle line
gain pulled 6
treble 3.7
bass 0.8
mid 5
lead drive now heres the trick part my knob broke off so i have no idea i think its pulled which is why im knocking off so much high end in the rest of the EQ
Presence pulled 4
Let me know what you think
these setting where for a explorer which was stock and very dark sounding
for my les paul i would turn down the presence, mid, and treble and turn up the bass a little
Once again tweak to prefrence hope you guys like it!
Running all 6L6 sed swinged c's
these setting are amazing for the mix i play alot of shows with a drummer that plays to loud for his own good and these cut through without being to ear piercing but still with having that mark IIc+ grit, smoothness and clarity.
NOTE: These settings were done through the 1x12 black shadow
as soon as i play through my recto 4x12 and tweak it to that i will post settings.
