So, I know what I like.
V shaped neck profiles, 1 5/8" nut, mahog body & neck with maple tops..., rosewood is my 3rd choice for fret boards, but a USA Dean is not in the cards right now.
Anyway, I love my Mark V. Totally versatile and it always sounds great!!!
I wanted to wire up a guitar that is just as versatile
Duncan Phat Cat P-90 in the neck
Bareknuckles Warpig in the bridge
The guitar sounds badass thru the Mark V..., clear articulate notes with tons of sustain & plenty of gain on tap. With the volume & tone knobs all on 10, the BK Warpig is like an overdrive pedal when switched on. The Phat Cat takes care of any Hendrix, blues, RATM, or Alt Rock single coil tones you could ever want. The pushed mids sound awesome.
The Warpig is just one of the best humbuckers out there, hands down. These 2 pick ups pair up amazingly..., I'm in love!!!
