My Hush II CX that i had been using as the last item in the signal path before the TA pre amp I figured out has actually been adding crackle. Also a week or two ago i noticed that I was picking up a radio station from my gear and I found myself listening to skid row playing on J-wave coming out of my 2x12 cabs. the culprit was the Hush! I thought these were noise reduction units and not noise reduction and replace with other noise units........ Anyone else have similar experience?

It is now out of the loop and I use one channel of the Beringer MDX2600 comp/lim/gate to handle the noise for everything up to the preamp and the other channel of the Beringer to handle the noise from the gain and drive from the TA.

You should put the Hush after the preamp and before any effects, or in the loop (also before any effects). using a comp/gate after the Ta will hurt your tone too. the Hush is much more tweakable than the berhingers' gate

got an ISP decimator prorack G. maybe the best money I spent of rack gear ever.
sold the hush and the beringer both at a profit as well..
