I've been using the 4 ohm plug on the Mark III into the Marshall mono 4 ohm setting, but I've just realized that sound is only coming out of the two right speakers. Isn't mono all 4 speakers? What's going on? All speakers work in stereo, but I don't have the right ohm plugs to match correctly. Is something wrong with the mono plug on the cab? The cabinet is a 1960A 4x12.

I had a 1960a. check the wiring and/or speakers. it should do 4 ohm mono (all 4 spkrs) from what I recall...

try plugging into 16ohm mono in the 1960a to see if all 4 spkrs will work.

When I plug into the 16 ohm mono I don't get any sound at all. I checked the cabinet but nothing looked wrong or out of place.

Wouldn't each stereo jack be 8ohms apiece? If so, plug each one into the the two 4ohm jacks on your Mk III.

Sounds like somethings screwy with the mono jacks.

That's what I've been doing, but it's still not matched correctly.
