How does the warranty work?

I have a fairly new TA30 combo (purchased September) and I was thinking about taking it to an authorized repair guy as I have been having problems with excess noise from the fx loop and others on this board have commented they don't have that problem. Would the diagnostics and any work be covered under the warranty (ie would I have to pay anything to get it checked out)? Thanks.

A call to mesa has always been extremely helpful for me also. Even when I wasn't under warranty.
If it's a common issue they might know the best direction to start addressing it.
