I have a late 80's Mark III long head (Simulclass, EQ, etc.) . Back in the 90's I ordered the rackmount kit that boogie was selling but it was for the short head, and so I had to return it. They have a rackmount kit listed on their site but I have no way of knowing if it is wide enough for the MkIII long head.

Anyone have any suggestions on how I can do this?

Much thanks...

I don't think a long head physically fits in a rack. The short head barely squeaks in there. Good luck, maybe you can find a wider rack and just use the ears to attach it. I personally would just get a road case designed to house your long head and some rack gear.

The rackmount kit on their site is the same as you ordered.

Russ is right, it won't fit in any 19" rack, since the chassis alone is wider than that, not including mounting.

You can probably get a head/rack case for it for use with the amp and some rackmount units, or just a regular ATA flight case for the head alone.

A good store for either is Angstrom Cases on eBay.

You can do it like Noodles from this forum did with his roadking:
