Hitachi 12AX7

I just came across 2 Hitachi 12AX7's. Not sure how old, but they look hardly used. I can't seem to find any information about these tubes (when they were manufactured, opinions on reliability, sound, etc...). Could they have been made by someone else or did Hitachi make their own? Any info on these would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

They made their own. Also relabeled as Raytheon mfg. code #, 12ax7a blue print organ tubes. Very nice sounding. Japanese tubes are among the great VOS values today.
