any ideas on how i should use any eq with my triaxis.
DV on or off?
eq in loop or straight though?
what not to use on my patch settings?

I can help you out. DV should be off. EQ can be in the loop or it can go right from the output of the Triaxis. As far as patch settings go there's nothing off limits.

An external EQ will really help with tone shaping the Triaxis. It can also give you a much more convincing Rectifier tone - at least it did for me  .

This is debatable. I had great results using it at 4.5 on Lead 2 Green. I used to dial in a sort of reverse V eq on tre-mid-bas (0-10-0) and then scoop the resulting tone with DV and it sounded pretty damn cool to me :)

...And another opinion:

I prefer eq after my Triaxis, never in the loop, and almost always use it subtractively. I go easy on the dynamic voice, but don't remove it all together. It is difficult to generalize with the Triaxis because of the eight different modes, and way more presets than any of us use.

Given the diversity of opinions so far, and the fact that everyone has different taste, I recommend taking a bit of time to experiment, and find out what works best for you. It'll be time well spent.
