Help me date my Mark IVa!

Who knows how to date a Mark IVa Hardwood combo? Where's the serial number on these bad boys?

Oh no , not another love struck fool! Look, I know she's gorgeous, she's hot, and every sound she makes is like music to your ears but, dating your amp is just wrong! Sooner or later the relationship sours and then what will you plug into? It's far better to keep the relationship on a professional level. :lol: If you want to see if she has lied about her age, the Sn is on the bottom of the amp. Not the cabinet but the actual amp section. You may have to stand on your head to see it but, if you are so far gone that you want to date her, she'll probably have you doing that in no time anyway :lol: :lol: :lol:

You could also pull out the tubes, take out the 4 screws in the top, push the head out of the cab, and read the handwritten notes written in the chassis by the builders.


Very easy to do.
