Oh yeah.
I woke up to 8 below zero this morning in St Paul today.
I went out to the garage and started my car to let it warm up for a bit before I left for work. The heat melted the snow on my floor mats so the soles of my shoes got wet as I drove.
When got out of my car at the office my wet shoes were sticking (freezing) to the parking lot as I walked.
I don’t ever remember having that happen to me before.
It did snow down here in Louisiana. I am 10 miles or so from downtown New Orleans (5 as the crow flies). On Dec. 11th, we got anywhere from 2-6 inches of snow in the N.O. area. The pic below is taken in front of my house about 20 minutes into the snowfall...it started coming down heavier at that point, and I said "screw it" it was too cold, and I went inside. It snowed for about another hour and 15 minutes. Total accumulation at my house was about 3 inches.
move to california. here in orange county its supposed to be in the 70s through the weekend. if it gets a little warmer ill be within an hour of the beach or the snow. its one of the reasons there arent many good bands coming out of cali, there is stuff to do.
