Heil talkbox with MKIV

Just a quick question on the set-up for this...

Am I ok to run the Talkbox from the 2nd 8 ohm speaker out while having the main EV plugged into the other 8 ohm socket??

Just thinking that I could then have main guitar sound on stage for monitoring etc with the Talkbox out front through PA.

A Heil Talkbox is a 8ohm load and the EVM Speaker is an 8ohm load. That's a total load of 4ohm when running in parallel. You should use the two 4ohm jacks on the Mark IV if you are using them together.

Sorry my bad, there are 2 x 4 ohm outlets on the back of the MKIV.

should be safe then even with Talkbox off - i.e no speaker load on 2nd output?
