The 2 I have tried had a strange treble fizz that I could not dial out.

The guitar player from Queensryche told me about the Switchblade a few months ago (he uses it) so it prompted me to check them out. I thought in a store it sounded great, but I can't comment on how it sounds in a full band mix which seems to get mixed reviews. The thought of having the programmable 4 channels with effects is wildly tempting. The effects however didn't work in the store so that set off an alarm in my head. After having a Mesa DR and feeling that craftsmanship, and then comparing it to the HK Switchblade, the HK seemed a bit flimsy to me. I ended up a Stiletto owner. Harmony Central has a bunch of reviews on the Switchblade.

when i tried it i wasn't the biggest fan of the effects. The amp did sound good but i would rather buy something else for that price.

i have never seen that amp but it looks like it could be good. if you can try it out let us know how it is. It looks like it is the same kind of concept as the road king. The videos sounded pretty good. Id say go give it a try :D Also that seems to be a great price if the amp can deliver.

What about this Amp:?

It's about the same price as the Switchblade.

Never used it but Egnater amps are amazing.
