Anybody tried this preamp tube out? Its supposed to be a clone of the old 60's mullard. Ive read that they sound good but dont last very long but the review were from a few years ago & I dont know if theyve gotten more reliable.
Im not lookin to buy any NOS tubes at the moment. My mesa has still got the stock preamp tubes in it. I dont know what they are but they dont say russian II. But I just want to experiment a little right now & see what different tubes sound like in different slots.
