Grounding lugs on top chassis mounts??

I pulled my chassis out of my MKIIC+ and now have 2 little lugs that flopped out of the top chassis mounting screw area. There is also a short length of braided wire that I assume they used to be attached to. This looks like a nightmare to reattach, so do I need to take it in or what is the deal with these things anyway? I hope I didn't just jack up my baby!! Z
