So my bands sound is changing and due to this i need my 95 2 channel dual rec is not hitting hard enough and i need a more defined aggressive tone i am competing with a marshall triple super lead and line6 mark 2 bognar any suggestions i was thinking about getting an eq or something to help so let me know what you guys think

A booster or overdrive like a tubescreamer in front is tightening up the sound, if that is what you want ... what cab/guitar are you playing ?

An EQ at the end of your chain is always a great tone-shaper.
I've got a Boss GE-7 w/the Monte Allum mod and it's super silent and the output level can always be bumped up w/the slider, but mine is set for normal/flat output.

Yeah i am definitely looking to tighten up my sound and shape my tone better i am using a mesa straight but recessed slant recto cab and schecter guitars and emg pickups
