Well I got the mark V today and it is a monster. It has so many sounds that are not just usable but great I may actually have an amp that I can keep for a year and not get bored. Even at low volume this thing just kills it. I got it off ebay for $500 less than you can buy em new for and I was told it was perfect condition. That was a bit of a stretch as it was slightly dirty and had a minor scuff in the tolex but for the price I paid Im gonna keep it. Ive messaged him and hopefully he can knock a couple bucks off and Ill be happy. Regardless I think I did ok. I just cant get over how good it sounds. Most lower cost amps Ive played had some weird noises or odd artifacts to the distortion. Almost as if they were digital. This amp is aggressive yet very smooth and musical. I havent even BEGUN to get to know it for all that it is but for now, its a keeper. Here are a couple pics.

Love my Mark V. There are so many tones in there I'll never use them all.
If that dent's all that you can find I wouldn't worry about it.

I've had mine for two years, and I still have little "honeymoon" moments when I discover yet another new tone that I wasn't expecting.

I love this thing man. Its all ready making me step up my game. The tone is so focused and tight it just wont let me get away with anything. Other metal amps are tight but it seems like a fizzy preamp tight as where the mark has a tight power section. Why oh why did I put off getting another mesa for so long. I should have never sold my old dual rectifier. But I like this amp more though.

Congrats on the "new" amp!! Don't worry about that dent, it's not going to affect the tone at all LOL.

I can't believe you have the gain dimed in ch. 3 and have an OD for a boost also  Are you playing mostly at low volume?

Yeah, very low volume. At that time I was not running the pedal and was testing to see how much dirt was on tap without running the boost. My daughter was sleeping or else that knob would be set much lower and the volume much higher.
