Got me a Bottle Rocket!

Picked one up locally for a pretty good price; figured I could flip it if I didn't like it. Definitely the best thing I have used for driving a clean amp; it has a really wide harmonic range unlike a lot of overdrives which have a pronounced hump somewhere in the EQ band. It just sounds like another gain channel.

I don't have the real estate for an adapter that size in my live rig though, so it'll probably mostly stay home... besides, now I can actually write riffs for my Isis/Neurosis-y band on a Valve Jr.

Contrats. I've been using a Bottle Rocket to drive my old blackface bandmaster for two years. It's a great pedal.

i just picked up a Bottle Rocket in excellent condition, and I love it!!!! I am using it along with my Mark IV. It is a great boost on R2, and a great "4th channel" when using it in conjunction w/ R1 as well.
