Good Preamp Tubes for Stiletto Deuce?

Hey guys,

I'm new to the board and just got a Stiletto Deuce. I changed the old power tubes to Svetlana winged C's, but it may also be time to find new preamp tubes for it as well. I was reading a thread that cited Groove Tubes and explained that they take away some of the harsh brightness.

Since I'm still a little new to tube amps, are there any good preamp tubes you guys could recommend? Also, how much would it cost to replace them all?

People have had good things to say about JJ's, Tung Sols and the Groove Tubes Mullard preamp tubes.

I've gotten good results with the Tung Sols and will probably get a few of the others just to mess around with.

If you do a search on the board you'll find plenty of info.
