I saw a Colosseum 300 here .... that is my favorite of all the Mark amps. I am keeping my IV .... but if I was looking for one .... that would be it.

I have seen them go as cheap as $700 but those were those one off deals. Once in a lifetime things.

I know....that makes me just want to sell the Marshall outright and just buy it.
The JCM800 2203KK go for about 1100 to 1200 on the used market.
Mine is MINT shape!
Maybe 8 hours on it total.

I know I wish I had the 800 that I sold years ago. But I am not buying anymore gear till I get what I have fixed.

The JCM800 2203KK is the best of both worlds........
has a stock JCM 800 in it.....
then engage the BEAST MODE and its like a Modded Marshall. :twisted:

Yeah....I love to get into the amps I own.
I had Randalls for a long time and hung out at the Randall forum along with Rig-talk.
Payment should be coming on the Marshall next week and then......

I have always had a Mark around since 1982 .... I had a II and III before my IV. When you get it .... I well give you some settings advise. The Mark amps not set up right sound like crap. Make sure you get one that is Simulclass and has EQ in a rack-mount or head. I know what you like and you well want these.

Cool thanks for the tip!
I played thru a Blue stripe at the local music shop. Had the Simulclass and the Graphic EQ.
We plugged a sonic maximizer in the effect loop....ran it at about GIG level...and it was a Jaw dropping sound! Never had an amp have that much impact on me and not have owned it!!
So I should of bought the Mark III last year but bought that Engl Fireball 100 instead.
Oh well.....time heals all wounds... :lol:
