2001 Limited edition "Gothic" explorer. That means black hardware, people. This guitar looks like a Batman prop (but with all that Tim Burton and Jack Nicholson goodness) and it screams like anything. Excellent condition--never gigged, played at home in a non-smoking household.
Neck is amazing-feeling, a vast improvement over the normal Explorer. It's the 1960s profile, so it plays fast but it fills up your hand, too. Sound is to die for--sits between the articulation of an SG and the depth of a Les Paul. The body also has perfect balance, despite the radical contours.
Price includes leather hardshell fitted case. Plush interior. Still smells new.
$750, all told. Shipping will be worked out between the buyer and me.
Sad to see this guitar go, but I have to pay for college. I suppose my Les Paul will have to do to comfort me.
